Yadeje is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in resilience, identity, and transformation. Emerging from humble beginnings, she discovered art as a path toward possibility after being accepted into an Arts High School in Newark, NJ, where her passion for painting, design, and public art began to flourish.
Early on in her career, Yasmin collaborated with renowned artist Gladys Grauer on her first mural, an experience that helped launch more than twelve years of community-centered public art. Since then, her work has explored themes of diversity, womanhood, education, spirituality, and hope.
Through vibrant murals, paintings, and mixed media, Yasmin creates work that speaks beyond borders. Her art invites viewers to reflect, dream, and imagine a more unified world. Whether in local communities or global spaces, her mission is to create beauty that inspires connection, healing, and positive change.
